Maggie Smith
For over fifteen years, Maggie has worked in Leadership Development and as an accredited executive coach with a wide range of public and private sector organisations. Before this, she was Head of Events at The Work Foundation working in the Advocacy team. This followed many years in management positions in the events and hotel industries where she specialised in project management and leading diverse teams, working with blue chip organisations in delivering their visions.
In addition to her Towards Outstanding Leadership work, Maggie is a visiting lecturer at the Centre for Charity Effectiveness at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) at City St George’s University where she is the programme lead for three leadership programmes. She also works in an NHS Foundation Trust where she delivers Compassionate Leadership programmes, coaches and facilitates the Healthcare Leadership 360˚ feedback tool. She is a qualified workplace mediator and certified to work with a number of profiling tools. Her interest is in positive psychology and helping people navigate their ‘imposter syndrome’.
